MATH 210 - Mathematics for Elementary Teachers II A continuation of MATH 110. Included are mathematical reasoning and proof; complex patterns; number theory concepts; measurement; geometric concepts such as congruence, similarity, symmetry, transformations, and coordinate geometry; functions, graphing and other algebraic concepts; elementary probability and statistics; mathematical modeling in a variety of contexts. Topics from the history of mathematics and from various cultural perspectives are integrated within the course material. Teacher candidates will be exposed to technology that is relevant to the teaching and learning of course material.
Requisites: MATH 103, MATH 110. (Required, Previous).
