SOC 360 - Religions The nature of religions as sociocultural phenomena, including analysis of religions in particular social, economic, and historical contexts. Examines concepts of supernatural-mystical power and beings, sacred symbols, religious specialists, syncretism, and the functions of ritual and belief under conditions of social stability and change.
Requisites: SOC 111 or SOC 112 or instructor permission. (Required, Previous).
