SOC 340 - Black Women in America This course examines the socio-political impact of Black women on the Black community and the United States. Key institutions have evolved from the environment and experience of Black women. The course seeks to develop an analysis of the social, political, and cultural role of Black women in American society from interdisciplinary perspectives, blending historical linkages with social systems and institutions.
Requisites: SOC 111. (Required, Previous).
