MUS 334 - Conducting I

In this course, students will develop a vocabulary of gestures that are the foundation of conducting both instrumental and choral ensembles. Students will learn to conduct a variety of meters, articulations, dynamics, as well as how to conduct cues, tempo changes, and fermatas. Basic rehearsal techniques will also be addressed.
