MUS 321 - Music History and Literature II A study of the history and literature of art music from the late Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods. The course will emphasize the development of various musical genres, relationships between music and society and a study of composers’ individual styles through analysis. In addition, the segment on the late Baroque period will include theoretical exercises in contrapuntal techniques.
Requisites: MUS 311 and MUS 311A (Required, Previous).
