MGT 325 - Management Information Systems An introduction to the management of information systems. Topics include: computer hardware, computer software, databases, networks and the Internet and their applications to functional areas such as accounting, marketing, operations management, human resource management and finance; determination of information requirements for managerial decision making; the manager’s role in information system design; and the relationship between organizational objectives and system design. In addition to the management information systems content material, this course will build the foundation for data analysis, report preparation, and report presentation.
Requisites: MGT 321 (Required, Previous). CS 150 (Required, Previous). Junior standing (Required, Previous).
