ME 356 - Fluid Mechanics Engineering applications, experiments, and design involving viscosity, statics (manometers, forces on submerged surfaces), kinematics, Bernoulli equations, conservation equations (mass, momentum, energy), dimensional analysis, the boundary layer and separation, duct flow, drag/lift forces, turbomachinery and flow measurement. (3-3)
Requisites: Mechanical Engineering Major (Required, Previous). MATH 262, ME 252. (Required, Previous or concurrent).
