MATH 145 - Finite Math Using algebraic techniques, students develop analytical reasoning skills to construct mathematical models, solve problems and interpret results. In MATH 145, students study equations and inequalities, functions, systems of equations, linear programming including the simplex method, quadratic functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, mathematics of finance, introductions to differential calculus including derivatives and applications. The course emphasizes applications from business and economics.
Requisites: MATH 103 or satisfactory score on math placement test. (Required, Previous).
