ECON 313 - Money and Financial Institutions An exploratory course into the role of money, banking, and financial institutions. Topics such as monetary policy, banks and other financial intermediaries, and significant developments in monetary/banking policy are covered. Students are provided with the tools necessary to evaluate monetary policy and the role of banks in the financial markets from both the theoretical and practical aspects.
Requisites: ECON 222 (Required, Previous). Junior standing (Required, Previous).
