CIS 333 - Introduction to System Software The conceptual foundations of computer systems will be established through a review of hardware architecture, underlying software/program execution, compiler, and operating systems. Definitions and examinations of topics such as machine structure, assemblers, loaders and inkers, macro processors, compilers and operating systems will be used to build the student’s competency in understanding the importance of system software to a modern computing system.
Requisites: CS 216 (Required, Previous).
