HS 309 - Neuroscience Seminar II The second of three neuroscience seminars intended to provide the neuroscience major with a broad exposure to the current questions and experimental approaches in neuroscience. Course themes will vary year to year. In general, the course material will present and illustrate current concepts, techniques, and challenges in the neurosciences in a “Journal Club” like setting where students will present, evaluate, and discuss current topics. Additionally, in Neuroscience Seminar II students will be exposed to how we communicate in science (oral and written), conference attendance etiquette and preparation, research ethics, preparing research proposals, and the UGRP at SVSU.
Requisites: HS 209 and Junior standing.
