PSYC 317 - Educational Psychology Students are introduced to major theories of learning, human development, and motivation. Emphasis is placed on educational applications of those theories. Individual differences among students are explored, including those based on student background and exceptionalities. Techniques for the measurement of student abilities and achievement are studied. Students are challenged to think critically about research methods and instructional practices. A fieldwork component is required.
