Nurs 742 - PMHNP Clinical for Child and Family Direct practice experiences with individuals, families and groups provides opportunities for application of assessment, diagnosis and psychotherapeutic skills in managing acute and chronic mental health conditions for children and families, and in a variety of clinical settings. Emphasis is on the provision of evidence-based care with a focus on the use of telehealth and emerging technologies to improve access to quality mental health care. Course may be taken in 1, 2, or 3 credit increments for a total of 3 credits in the program with 180 clinical hours total.
Requisites: Prerequisites NURS 710, NURS 712, NURS 716; Prerequisite or Corequisites NURS 733
