NURS 687 - FNP Rural Residency III

Examines rural factors that contribute to acute and episodic illness and injury across the lifespan, and explores the role of the advanced practice nurse in the prevention and management of acute episodic illness and injury in rural populations. Examines transition to practice issues that are unique to rural primary care, including professional isolation, autonomy, and scarcity of resources.
