BIOL 437 - Immunology & Hematology An introduction to molecular and cellular principles of the immune system and functions of the blood. Topics include the nature of antigens and antibodies, role of cell-mediated immunity and blood group substances with an emphasis on the pathology of blood diseases. Immunological techniques applicable to clinical diagnosis are emphasized in the laboratory. (3-3)
Requisites: BIOL 291 and BIOL 360 (Required, Previous).
