CHEM 520 - Nanomaterials This course will discuss the fabrication, characterization and properties of materials on the nanometer lengthscale. Both “hard” (crystalline) and “soft” (amorphous) materials will be discussed. The overall aim of the course will be to give students a working knowledge of what nanomaterials are, ways that they can be made and characterized, and how this class of materials is important to current technologies.
Requisites: CHEM 322. (Required, Previous).
Credits: 3 cr
