NURS 610 - Pathophysiology for FNP Advanced study for Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) students of the pathophysiologic changes due to disease processes along with the compensatory mechanisms. Emphasized is the understanding of the clinical manifestations of disease processes so that physiologically sound clinical management can be developed. Includes the analysis of the mechanism(s) of production of the symptoms and signs of different disease syndromes.
Prerequisites: Admission to program or post-MSN Certificate program, NURS 766 and NURS 772 . Credits: 3 cr
