TE 341 - Methods of Teaching Social Studies K-8

An introduction to methods and materials appropriate for an issues approach to the teaching of social studies. Emphasis will be placed on developing methods that will obtain the goal of preparing a responsible citizenry. Fieldwork is required.

Prerequisite: PSYC 310 , TE 300 , and admission to the Elementary Teacher Education Program
