ECON 200 - Introduction to International Economics This course is an introduction to the economic theories and principles as they pertain to international trade and economic policy. Within this theoretical context, an analysis and review of issues confronting policy makers, such as global competition for resources and markets, trade wars, and the use of economic policy to alleviate the disparity between rich” and “poor” states is provided. Course topics include world trade, global economic institutions, international monetary policy, economic development, and key historical economic events.
