A minor in gerontology is available to Health Science and other majors who earn a total of 21-23 credits. Courses must be completed in at least 4 disciplines. Credits taken for the gerontology minor cannot also be used toward the 20 credit Elective requirement for the Health Science major. Please note that PHIL 205B! is a pre-requisite for students planning to take HS 495 as their field experience course, and should be taken as part of their Category 5 general education requirements.
