General Business Major (B.B.A.)

A minor is not required.

Bachelor of Business Administration Requirements (B.B.A.)

Every candidate must earn at least a total of 124 credits, including a minimum of 42 credits at the 300-400 level, complete university Basic Skills and General Education requirements, and must satisfy the following:

Business Core (49 credits required)

Business Cognates (12 credits required)

COMM 105A - Fundamentals of Communication 3 cr
ECON 150A - Business Computer Applications I 1 cr or successful completion of placement test
ECON 150B - Business Computer Applications II 1 cr
RPW 300 - Writing in the Professions 3 cr
MATH 120B - Algebraic Methods: Finite Math 4 cr or MATH courses numbered at or above MATH 161 [MATH 120B is recommended for business students who are not planning to take additional work in mathematics]

Courses Outside of the College of Business and Management

48 credits must be earned in courses that are not in the College of Business and Management.

Electives (18 credits required)

Approved courses (300-400 level) involving at least three business departments
