Modern Foreign Languages (B.A.) Teacher Certification

Secondary Level
- Foreign language majors who are candidates for teacher certification at the secondary level must fulfill all the requirements for the major in French or Spanish.
- Foreign language minors who are candidates for teacher certification at the secondary level must take FREN 321, GER 321, or SPAN 311 as part of their minor.
- Foreign language majors and minors who are candidates for teacher certification at the secondary level must take MFL 466, Secondary Foreign Language Methods.
- Foreign language majors and minors who are candidates for teacher certification at the secondary level must fulfill all the requirements for certification as prescribed by the College of Education.
K-12 Levels
- Foreign language majors who are candidates for teacher certification at the K-12 levels must fulfill all the requirements for the major in French or Spanish.
- Foreign language majors who are candidates for teacher certification at the K-12 levels must take MFL 466, Secondary Foreign Language Methods.
- Foreign language majors who are candidates for teacher certification at the K-12 levels must take MFL 465, Elementary Foreign Language Methods.
- Foreign language majors who are candidates for teacher certification at the K-12 levels must fulfill all the requirements for certification as prescribed by the College of Education.
