Secondary Level

Foreign language majors who are candidates for teacher certification at the secondary level must fulfill all the requirements for the major in French or Spanish.
Foreign language minors who are candidates for teacher certification at the secondary level must take FREN 321, GER 321, or SPAN 311 as part of their minor.
Foreign language majors and minors who are candidates for teacher certification at the secondary level must take MFL 466, Secondary Foreign Language Methods.
Foreign language majors and minors who are candidates for teacher certification at the secondary level must fulfill all the requirements for certification as prescribed by the College of Education.

Foreign language majors who are candidates for teacher certification at the K-12 levels must fulfill all the requirements for the major in French or Spanish.
Foreign language majors who are candidates for teacher certification at the K-12 levels must take MFL 466, Secondary Foreign Language Methods.
Foreign language majors who are candidates for teacher certification at the K-12 levels must take MFL 465, Elementary Foreign Language Methods.
Foreign language majors who are candidates for teacher certification at the K-12 levels must fulfill all the requirements for certification as prescribed by the College of Education.
