MGT 501 - Leading & Managing the Technical Organization
This course will prepare the student to successfully assume leadership responsibilities in the management of a technical organization. Topics include: basic administrative functions, strategic business decision making in a technical unit, staffing and retention of quality technical personnel, creating and maintaining high performance work teams, developing influence networks to accomplish organizational goals, and leadership of a professional workforce.
