NURS 636 - Diagnostic Reasoning and Clinical Decision Making Develops and refines safe clinical decision-making strategies used by family nurse practitioners in interprofessional primary care settings. Emphasizes acquisition and analysis of relevant data to formulate differential diagnoses for common acute, chronic, and complex health conditions. Focuses on the judicious selection and accurate interpretation of screening and diagnostic tests as an integral component of the diagnostic reasoning process.
Requisites: Admission to graduate nursing program with FNP concentration.
