NURS 614 - Professional Role Development for FNPs
Introduces the advanced practice nursing role in the primary healthcare setting. Explores the role evolution from an historical and legislative perspective. Professional practice issues including the evolving scope of practice, key role competencies, reimbursement, and inter-professional collaboration are examined. Includes critical analysis of clinical strategies and interventions in health promotion and protection based on the evidence and relevant theoretical frameworks.
