TE 631 - Career and Postsecondary Preparation


Theory and research-based practices are emphasized that relate to the infusion/blending of academic curricula (elementary-high school) with post-secondary preparation and career development; facilitation of post-secondary setting and business relationships; facilitation of consumer-directed post-secondary plans, career development and placement; as well as determination of follow-up strategies. Employment and vocational models for individuals with disabilities, specifically developmental disabilities, are explored.

Requisites: TE 430  or instructor permission (Required, Previous).
