CIS 425 - Decision Support Systems The analysis and design of information systems permitting the computer to become an integral part of the decision making process. This course will examine various systems ranging from optimization problem solvers through artificially intelligent systems that support the decision making process. In particular, optimization-problem solving packages, language processing systems, expert systems and genetic algorithms will be examined.
Prerequisite: CIS 311 , CS 245 , Senior standing
Credits: 3 cr
