ART 320 - Methods of Teaching Visual Arts: 6-12

An art methods class for visual art education majors covering curriculum for 6-12 grade students. It includes the development of sequential art curriculum, assessment methods, production of instructional resources, child development and other knowledge relevant to 6-12 teaching. Field work in middle and secondary art education classroom required.

Prerequisite: ART 111  , ART 112  , ART 121  , ART 122  .

Credits: 4 cr
