EDL 712 - Advanced Public School Law
This course addresses the body of constitutional, statutory, administrative and case law which controls the shared governance of public schools by local boards of education, the states and the Federal Government. Relevant Michigan and Federal laws and necessary board-adopted policies to control student discipline, curriculum, buildings and grounds, board of education activity and central office administration are included.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: EDL 553 or approval of instructor.
