TE 301 - Methods of Teaching Children’s Literature K-8 Provides students with an overview of different genres of contemporary children’s literature. Students will study literary response and literary analysis. Course material includes: planning literature activities that meet the State of Michigan Grade Level Expectations and utilizing children’s literature across the K-8 curriculum.
Prerequisite: TE 300, and admission to the Elementary Teacher Education program.
