MGT 325 - Management Information Systems An introduction to the management of information systems. Topics include: computer hardware, computer software, databases, networks and the Internet and their applications to functional areas such as accounting, marketing, operations management, human resource management, and finance; determination of information requirements for managerial decision making; the manager’s role in information system design; and the relationship between organizational objectives and system design.
Prerequisite: MGT 321, ECON 151 (or computer cognate) and Junior standing.
