A number of different categories for undergraduate admission to Saginaw Valley State University are described below. Application forms for undergraduate admission to the University can be obtained from the Office of Admissions, high school and community college counseling offices or online at www.svsu.edu. Students are encouraged to apply for admission as they decide they are interested in attending Saginaw Valley State University. Each application is considered individually based on overall academic achievement, ACT or SAT scores, and extracurricular involvement. Upon review of all final documents, if all criteria for admission to Saginaw Valley State Univeristy are not met, the University reserves the right to rescind admission.
A check or money order made payable to SVSU for the $30 non-refundable application fee must accompany the application for admission. Please include the student’s name in the memo line of your check or money order.
Pre-admission counseling and campus tours are available weekdays, and at special weekend events, through the Office of Admissions, 178 Wickes Hall.
